EPFO has launched a district outreach program named "Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0" with the objective of reaching all districts of the country on the same day, which is the 27th of every month. Through this program, camps were organized in 685 districts to enhance accessibility and awareness of EPFO services.
The Bhavishya Nidhi Adalat was renamed Nidhi Aapke Nikat in 2015, and in 2019, the program's outreach was expanded by including trade unions. Additionally, EPFO initiated a monthly Pension Adalat in 2021 to address grievances of pensioners.
Labour and Employment Secretary Arti Ahuja e-launched the program from the EPFO Headquarters in the presence of Central Provident Fund Commissioner and other officials. The virtual event was attended by over 850 participants, including members of Parliament, members of Legislative Assemblies, CBT Members, Regional Committee members, District Collectors, officials from state and district administration, representatives from industrial bodies, and officers from the field offices.
The Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 program serves not only as a grievance redressal platform and information exchange network for employers and employees, but also as a platform for exchanging information with district-level authorities of various State and Central Government departments. The program includes a help desk where members can access online services like filing online claims. Members' grievances will be addressed on the spot, and if a grievance cannot be resolved immediately, it will be registered on the EPFO's grievance portal and given priority for resolution.
The Nidhi Aapke Nikat program is a platform where EPFO stakeholders previously visited EPFO field offices to address their grievances. With the launch of Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, EPFO has extended its reach to stakeholders, making the organization more accessible and visible in all districts of the country.
